Options vs Stocks


I'm getting a little jittery trading options these days. Too volatile and the spreads are getting huge.
I had never shorted a stock before, always bought Puts, this time I tried one. JOYG. Shorted it close to 48 yesterday. It looked like a pretty good resistance level. Just wondering, if I had bought puts if I still would have held on to them.


So just thinking, until the markets settle down a bit, I might stay out of options for some time.. and then again, I'll forget all about this post first thing tomorrow morning :)

well, even the seasoned traders are finding it difficult to trade this market.. at least from looking at the comments on some other blogs.
