Sell - 1 SHLD Dec 100 Put @ 6.00 (Bought @ 3.00)
Ignorance is bliss! I had no idea that SHLD was reporting today, otherwise I might not have even taken this trade. I was thinking of closing it yesterday, good thing I decided not to.
Closed this a little after the open. Some thing that I've realized trading big earnings based moves is to get rid of options at the beginning of the day, that's when the premiums are usually the highest.
As a side note, I bought this put option @ 3.00 when the stock was trading at around 111. Now it's at 104 and the option is still selling for only 3.00. Goes to show what an IV drop can do to an option price.

SHLD
I bought a Put on this a couple of months ago, but it bounced off of support at that time and I closed that position with a loss. It looks like SHLD might have broken down below support now. I'm seeing a head and shoulders. It could be a good short.. especially if it can retrace to the 128-130ish support area

Position Update - SHLD
My timing on the entry was pretty bad. I didn't close it (fortunately) when it went above 135-136 which I felt was resistance. I was down about $450 on this a day or so ago. I was literally within 10 cents of selling it. Well, good thing for me this came down today. I'm still down about 100 bucks or so.
The chart might be at a make or break spot right now. It could form a double bottom and take it higher, or it can break support at 129.50ish area and go lower. We'll see what happens. I'll keep my stop tight on this one.

Buy - 1 SHLD Sep 130 Put @ 7.90
Not sure what I'm doing here.. I was too late to the AAPL long party and too late to the SHLD short party. Two big bad trades in a row...not good!
It's funny ... it's so easy to lose money so quickly, yet so difficult to make it back.
135-136 looked like support to me a few days ago, if it goes above that, I'll close this position.
